The somewhat bizarrely named International Kidney is what you must call Jersey Royals that are not grown on Jersey – or you’ll be in big trouble.

If harvested as a second early, International Kidney makes a great, very waxy, salad potato. If you grow it on to an early maincrop, it produces floury, large, general purpose spuds.
