    Hmm, it’s got to be worth it – last year was terrible in terms of footfall. So I’m up for it (timetable permitting!) if it’s somewhere that has people. So is there a good market somewhere at the moment? Even Baildon was looking a bit sad when I went before Christmas. Any thoughts, people?

    I always like to buy what looks good on the day, so I’m happy with whatever! I do like a good choice if 1st earlies – and there seems to be plenty there. So go with that unless we want to add in those suggested – Yetholme Gypsy and Edgecote Purple (I’ve never even heard of those last ones!) – though if they’re heritage, are they allowed to be sold?

    I agree with Val’s comments – seems to me like they want a free worker for their organisation. We do what we do and that does include promoting Garden Organic, but I’m not sure if our capacity can extend much beyond this.
    Linking local initiatives is already done on a shoestring via FCFCG’s fieldworker role (that’s me in this area, by the way – membership is free though we encourage joining FCFCG), they may be duplicating and thereby diluting that role.

    Oh no, I’m replying to myself now!
    So having looked again it does only say potato (no ‘s’), Marion, so there may only be one.
    Still want help with the bean question…

    It doesn’t say only one to be cooked – I was assuming they’d all need to be… clarification please anyone!
    And another query came to me – someone has Borlotti beans but wasn’t going to cook them – they aren’t runner, they aren’t French – and they’re not mature (ie dry) beans cooked…. More help please!
