    It occurred to me that it would be interesting to know what people are growing for the sale so here goes.

    Sue took some cuttings form our soft fruit in Autumn 2012 and they’ve all taken really well bar one. I’ve planted some for us and potted up the remainder for the sale so now have the following;

    1 blackcurrant – Ben Lomond
    3 redcurrants – Red Lake
    3 gooseberries – Pax (probably)

    I’ve also potted up a Maidenhair Fern – a houseplant which came in some plants at Christmas.

    What are you growing?

    I’ve started chillies, Pot Black, and capsicums, Oro; a range of tomatoes; celery and celeriac; and various flowers, Petunias, Antirrhinums, and something else I can’t remember. All grown in blocks or mini-blocks. They aren’t all for the plant sale but there will be plenty of spares.
