Sharpes Express were first added to the National Potato Variety List in 1901 and have been going strong ever since. Tubers are long and oval with white skin and pale lemon coloured flesh and shallow eyes with a high dry matter content. Making for a great potato in the kitchen with all-round use. Sharpes Express has a fine flavour and is suited for boiling, roasting and salad.
